OSD-menu –в переводе с английского On-Screen Display. Обозначает «дисплей на экране», но у нас это обычно называют «экранным меню». Этот тип меню есть в любой современной цифровой технике, которая оснащена экраном, либо которую можно подключить к телевизору.
На экране цифрового устройства с OSD-меню отображается время, номер канала, меню управления настройками и другие элементы меню. Выключатели и потенциометры, используемые на телевизорах старых моделей, были оснащены аналоговым контролем. Сегодня цифровой техникой можно управлять с помощью пульта дистанционного управления. Чтобы отображать образы либо текст, изначально предлагали использовать дополнительные дисплеи типа LCD, LED или VFD. Но из-за них, стоимость техники значительно увеличилась. Поэтому решили добавить OSD-menu, которое было более доступным.
Кроме этого, OSD-меню позволяет поместить на экранах телевизоров или другой техники больше информации, чем помещается на дополнительном дисплее. Данное меню отображается за счет того, что происходит синхронизация видеопамяти OSD-меню и телевизионного сигнала. Таким образом, графическая информация «накладывается» на видео изображение.
Основная проблема экранного меню – невозможность выполнить диагностику телевизора, в случае его неисправности. Чтобы можно было выявить, из-за чего именно не работает телевизор, нужно использовать дополнительный дисплей, а также вскрыть корпус.

A way to delete HW OSD from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
HW OSD is a program marketed by Huawei Device Co., Ltd.. Some users want to erase this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase HW OSD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Всем доброго здравия, дорогие форумчане!
На ноутбуке Huawei Matebook D14 с Windows 10 Pro x64 (лицензия) в Журнале событий несколько раз в день регистрируется ошибка следующего содержания:
| Служба Huawei OSD Service была неожиданно завершена. Это произошло 6 раз(а). Следующее корректирующее действие будет предпринято через 1000 мсек: Перезапуск службы. |
Собственно вопрос: что это за служба, за что она отвечает и можно ли её как-то вылечить или (если нет) без ущерба для работы системы совсем отключить?
На всякий случай сообщаю, что смартфонами Huawei я не пользуюсь.
P.S. разумеется до размещения вопроса здесь я самостоятельно погуглил, но нашел лишь информацию о связи этой службы с каким-то драйвером Huawei.
В Диспетчере устройств все Ok.
